A risk register is not a risk analysis.

Most programmes track risk in a spreadsheet: a list of things that might go wrong, each with a number someone typed in. It cannot tell you what the portfolio costs at 80% confidence, which five risks drive most of the exposure, or what the contingency should actually be.

CARDO runs the register through simulation instead. Same risks, same estimates, but the output is a distribution you can defend at a board meeting rather than a total you have to justify.
